Job Overview: The Classroom Teacher is responsible for providing quality academic instruction in a safe, supportive, and Christ-centered learning environment. This position involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, managing classroom behavior, and meeting the individual learning needs of students. The teacher will integrate biblical principles and Christian values throughout daily instruction while encouraging students' academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, maintain positive relationships with students and families, and support the mission and values of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model Christian character, integrity, kindness, and respect in interactions with students and families.

• Encourage students to develop a strong moral foundation and grow in their understanding of biblical teachings.

• Integrate biblical principles and Christian values into daily instruction and classroom management.

• Lead classroom prayer, Bible lessons, and faith-based discussions as appropriate.

• Foster positive relationships with students, offering encouragement, support, and gentle guidance.

• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student success.

• Create a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment that encourages learning and student growth.

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the academic needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.

• Follow school policies, curriculum guidelines, and applicable safety procedures.

• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, school events, and other assigned responsibilities.
  
  

Qualifications:

• A personal commitment to the Christian faith and a passion for working with children in a Christian educational setting.

• Current Teaching Certification Required

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers, students, and parents in a supportive manner.

• Patience, kindness, and a positive attitude toward students of all abilities.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and stay organized in a dynamic classroom environment.

• Willingness to undergo background checks and child protection training.
