Mrs. Byers will be the lead teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. She has been teaching elementary students for the last 13 years and has a passion for teaching struggling readers. 

Mrs. Byers' educational background includes an elementary education degree at Pittsburg State University. In 2014, she received a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from William Woods University. 

Mrs. Byers has been married since 2012 to her husband Matthew. They have two children, Reed and Reese. In her free time, she enjoys family time and being on her family farm. 

Her favorite verse is Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength."
